The single affectionate finger which wipes my tears,
The consoling words which take away my fears,
The patient ear which listens to my stories,
One kind heart with whom I can share my worries!

Your warm hug with all its gentleness,
Can never replace one’s greatest riches!
Your selfless help given during the troublesome times,
And the loads of fun we have in our joyful times!

The shoulder lent readily for me to cry over,
Your comforting words that give me enormous power,
The motherly love that you render upon me,
And the benign way you care for me –

My dear friend! ! ! No substitute there is for you!
For you give me happiness over due!
I thank god for this gift so wonderful,
Which makes my life so meaningful!
