The Game Poem by Jack Mashman

The Game

Come out of the sea
remember to cover your middle
brush the scales from you skin
take two steps forward

Make sure heaven is in the right place
divide up God to suit
you take this part
he takes the other
kill two living creatures
start all over again

Come out of the forest
don't forget your spear
straighten your loin cloth
add a little bit of armor
it's time to make your move
King one to Serf two
build a beautiful Cathedral
you have reached the first plateau

Now take a deep breath
skip the in between
let the thunder roll
two smoke stacks
will bring you up to date
bring out your chemistry set
kill all living creatures
you have reached the last plateau

Please clear the board
any on else care to play?
