This is our last year together
Or should i say the last few months together,
And then we do part,
Our paths diverge into our own worlds,

Soon it'll be time for you and me to fly unto your seamless horizons,
And then many years ahead on the timeline,
One day when i look back on time
And recall a friend,

A mesmerising smile always there to dazzle,
A girl who was, Punjabiyat personified,
The 'Don't mess wid me' girl
But most importantly a very dear friend,
Whom i could trust,
Who was always there to correct me,
A friend who truely matched the defination of a friend,

As a timeless memory in the heart,
