The Forbidden Fruit Poem by Harish Mudaliar

The Forbidden Fruit

Rating: 3.5

How colorful is your basket of fruit! ! !
A mixture of lies and truth
On top like a sceptre stands the splendid green apple
Adorned with the plums of royal purple
Embellished by the passionate beads of deep red cherry
Sliced pulps in bright yellow, that looks so merry
Pure scents of white nectar from the Persian gardens
Bound by tangerines in spiritual saffron
Enchanted by the brilliant blend of esthetic colors! ! !
A bouquet of elegance, worth sovereigns of dollars
Of all the delight, the only disgrace is me
An abjured sour cherry, makes you remorse and flee
