The Fog Poem by J.B. LeBuert

The Fog

Rating: 5.0

The Fog like soup
Can be thick or thin
Sometimes frightful
To many, delightful
Often hiding many a sin

It's Intrigue and mystery
It creeps in with so much history
Hiding all the dark forms
Precursor of some awful storms

Covers hill and dale
Hovers over ship and sail
Loved by those that hide
Lovers side by side

Watery misty opaque screen
Dewy moist harbinger unseen
Disappearing from sight
Into the night

Thieves and beggars hidden from view
Water filled space, thick as stew
The best place for me and you
Scintillating till it's through
