The Fabric Of Space Poem by J.B. LeBuert

The Fabric Of Space

Rating: 5.0

Dark Energy and Gravity
Theories of Depravity
Planets bending space
Something's out of place
Dark matter rules
Making us fools

The Universe expanding
And accelerating
Aurora Borealis banding
Asteroids macerating
Can infinity expand
On God's command

Particles without mass
And still not a gas
The ocean of space
Causing a human race
Is space breathing
Or just teething

Exploding super nova
Forming numerous ova
Does matter matter
Do universes scatter
Where is the Higgs particle
Or is it an indefinite article

Is the outer edge of the universe
Starting to go into reverse
The big bang or the big ripple
I'm starting to tipple
Space is really breathing
Or is God just seething

The fabric torn by black holes
Releasing dark energy's souls
Gyroscopes tilting
The fabric is quilting
Constants not fixed
Minds are transfixed

Reality is a holographic illusion
Created by collusion
On the computer screen
Of "The God Machine"

A very clear and comprehensive picture of reality as few would understand it and know it. I loved your thoughts on quantum reality
