The First Passover (God God God) Poem by Udiah (witness to Yah)

The First Passover (God God God)

And this is the story of how the Lord freed His people Israel
but for four hundred and thirty years did they sojourn
So the Lord brought Moses and Aaron before Pharaoh
and told him 'Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, 'Let My people go''
but the Lord made Pharaoh harken not
So the Lord made Aaron's rod become a serpent
and it swallowed up the magicians' rods
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord had Moses and Aaron smote the waters
and the waters became blood
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought forth frogs
and the frogs covered the land of Egypt
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought forth gnats
and there was gnats upon man and beast
but the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart
So the Lord brought forth swarms of flies
and He severed Goshen so no flies were there
but the Lord hardened Pharaohs' heart
So the Lord brought forth a very grievous murrain upon the cattle
and no cattle died of the children of Israel
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought forth boils upon man and beast
and the magicians had the boils too
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord cause it to rain a very grievous hail and lightening
and there was no hail in Goshen
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought forth locusts which ate what the hail had left
and every green herb and fruit in Egypt were eaten
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought darkness for three days in Egypt
and there was light in Israel's dwellings
but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart
So the Lord brought forth one more plague upon Egypt
and at midnight He smote all the firstborn of the Egyptians
but the Lord protected Israel by the lamb and its blood
So the Lord made the Egyptians urgent that Israel might leave the land in haste
and they lent unto Israel what was required
but the Lord made Pharaoh follow Israel with his chariots
So the Lord drowned Pharaoh's host in the Red Sea
