The Final Path Poem by lyxo lyxo

The Final Path

This story is ours.

We first met somewhere
Find you like a boy from here and there
But you were already feeling me
Didn’t notice until you confess me

We start hanging out together
Developed feeling for each other
Sensed differences but didn’t bother
Too bad, love didn’t make us go further

We began sweet, ended sour
We were our need, loved in fire
Reached the peak, I lost the power
Of lead, you beat me over

Good friends staying
Temptation of cheating
Need a break for nothing
We’ve been through it all, hearts shaking

Not knowing, it’s you, I was losing
Not knowing, my feeling was dropping
Not knowing, pain was around when you were leaving
Not knowing, why all this was happening

We had our moment our time did last
For long but it past so fast

Since the break up, I was doing alright
Until this girl, for whom you fight
From me, this reality you tried to hide
For you, for her, it was killing me inside

I know you may understand my aching
But you can’t have my feeling
Feeling you loving her
Seeing you with her

Then I got my mistake and weakness
I even called her to wish you happiness
To tell you that I was very fine, no mess
I cut myself with this lie to show no interest

Alone at the crossroad
Couldn’t choose a straight or curve road
Maybe it has to be both
So I stood there, waiting for a light to glow

I’ll find someone else waiting
I’ll find souvenirs remaining
I’ll find thoughts for you reminding
But no matter what, I’ll find a smile staying

Because our memories are real endlessly
Because we kept affection for our story
Because we have loved sincerely
Because it was you, simply

I loved you, hated you, despised you
With all those feeling gone, I may be over you
Thanks for caring me, cherishing me, loving me
Once, you’ve done it all for me.

For making this shattering story my history,

I thank you.

Love, Hate and Despised in one line! ! ! ! a very good example of self torture of the mind with all the emotions.
