So many things have passed
Those that shouldn’t
So many we couldn’t let go
Those, we should

Here’s a silence
Unspoken words torn us apart
Those that keep us hoping
Hope for understanding

Unwritten lies because of this silence
Silence because of love
No truth revealed, only we feel
Feeling of trust

I try trust to be with you
No pain, no gain
No question, no false answer
So, there is my silence

You shut your doors down
You put your self-protection on
Somehow, I still know you too well
Through this wall, I respect your silence

The trust, you can’t share but
A love, we continue to agree on
You leave words inside you
This mutual silence inside us

In one way, you’re blaming me
I pay for your culpability
I don’t mind, ‘cause I know
This excuse is to excuse you

Unfaithful, we are
But you to me, you for her
Me to love, me for our love
You and me, we still are

I don’t mind games
But play it smart
