The Facts Of Life Poem by Janice M Pickett

The Facts Of Life

The quality of the unknown
can only be determined from
one in the know.

Nothing is as simple as it appears
nor is it as complicated
as one makes out.

There is no mould in creativity
nor is there satisfaction
in creating for a plastic environment.

Such is the pattern of life
and all it has to offer.

For I know the facts of life.
I live them daily.
Treading softly alone my path
where I have come to expect the unexpected.
