The Eye Poem by Abigail Kaiser

The Eye

The eye wants me dead for my soul is so unique for life

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's watching me like a predator does to its prey
The lifeless color following my every move
It stocks me when I walk
And finds me when I hide
It's watching me
It knows when I'm awake
It sees me when I sleep
There is nothing I can do
For it is the creature of sight
Waiting for the right moment
So the EYE can burn my soul
And kill my heart
And eat my mind
For the EYE wants me dead!
