Aleppo - December 15,2016
2.30am local time (4: 30am SPT) :
'We wish to inform you that
Our family of eight children
Will be exterminated tomorrow
Thank you for your prayers
And for standing by; sympathy
Useless like criminal negligence.'

How the Lord has covered Daughter Syria
With the cloud of his anger (Jeremiah 2: 1) .

איך ה 'כיסה בת סוריה
עם הענן של כעסו.

The dead and wounded are in the streets and People's homes have collapsed on top of them Save us, Save us, the doctor said.

Civilians left have been posting farewell Messages as the militias rampaged through their Neighbourhoods in a pure meltdown of civilization.

Many predicted they would either die once Lucifer Regime's forces reached their homes, or would be Detained and tortured if they gave themselves upt
To them - advanced stage in the lifecycle of Hell.

Oh, where have you been, my black-eyed son
I've stumbled on the side of misty mountains
I've crawled on crooked highways
I've stepped in the middle of sad forests
I've been out in front of a dead oceans

Dark is the night when humanity's melting down
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Oh, what did you see, my black-eyed son
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin'
I saw men with their shot guns a-bleedin'
I saw a white ladder all covered with Chlorine
I saw talkers whose tongues were all broken
I saw the hands of young children, all burning

Dark is the night when humanity's melting down
It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

And what did you hear, my black-eyed son?
I heard the sound of a thunder roarin' warning
Heard waves that could drown the whole world
Heard drummers whose hands were a-blazin'
Heard thousands whisperin' and nobody listenin'
Heard persons starve and many people laughin'
Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter
Heard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley

Dark is the night when humanity's melting down
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Oh, what did you meet, my black-eyed son?
I met a young child beside a dead pony
I met a white man who walked a black dog
I met a young woman whose body was burning
I met a young girl, she gave me a rainbow
I met one man who was wounded in love
I met another man who was wounded with hatred

Dark is the night when humanity's melting down
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

And what'll you do now, my black-eyed son?
I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-falling
I'll walk to the depths of the deepest black forest
Where people are many and hands are all empty
Where pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where valley homes meets damp dirty prison
And Jesus Christ's face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten
Where white is the color and none is the number
I'll tell it and think it and speak it and breathe it
Reflect it from the mountain so all souls can see it
Then I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinking.

But I'll know my song well before I start singing
Dark is the night when humanity's taking down
And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Your Auschwitz genocide of January 1945, your Rwandan genocide of April 1994, your Srebrenica genocide of August 1995, Now Aleppo burning November 2015, human devils exterminating defiant civilians, people like you and me, happened to live at the wrong place, at the wrong time, they say that time does not heal all wounds, but gives us the tools to endure them - is that right?

Footnote - A poetic variation witnessing the fall of Aleppo based on the 'Lamentations of Jeremiah' (written by Yahweh,1000 BC) , and 'It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall' song lyrics (Bob Dylan and Patty Smith)

Michael, thank you for telling it like it is - a meltdown of civilsation caused by human devils. Is your poem based on a song? You may like to take a look at my One man and one little girl.
