The Ex That Would
When I was drained,
as sanity drifted away.
Had very few friends,
that remained the same.
Twas a friend I thought,
yet he fled.
Merged as one,
yes they did.
Soon to break,
so I thought.
Yet moved forward,
but a lesser heart.
