The Ex

You call,
You text,
You beg,
You plead,
When I answer, you annoy and confuse me,
When I ignore you,
You worsen.
Thoughts of death play in your head
While mine play on my wrist's
You say you're going to do it.
But we both know it's an act.
Still you play on my feelings because
Words cut deeper than any knife or saber ever will.
Just leave, please
Your words are too cruel,
And my soul is already damaged
But it's being amended, fix,
Can't you see I'm happy?
I'm finally happy.
So please leave, you're punching holes in my amending soul
For the sake of my life, please, I ask of you,

The desperation of the ex is well executed. liked the way short story poem turned out as. Keep writing, cause this one was good.
