The Evolution Of Pain
Pain was once simple
Pain became hard to handle
Pain was feeling everything all at once
Pain was 'not enough', 'try harder' and 'be better'
Pain became people, memories and broken plans
Pain became what if's, oh well's and could have been's
Pain now don't cry, pain now smiles
Pain now don't exist; pain now is weak
Because pain was overthrown by emptiness.
