The Evening Sky Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

The Evening Sky

The evening sky, a canvas of gold,
The sun sets low, its last rays bold,
A gentle breeze that softly blows,
As I take a stroll where nature flows.

The trees stand tall, their branches spread,
A canopy of green above my head,
Birds chirp and sing their evening song,
A melody that lingers long.

The rustling leaves, a soothing sound,
As I walk on this enchanted ground,
My thoughts drift like the clouds above,
Filled with peace, joy, and love.

The scent of flowers in the air,
A fragrance that's beyond compare,
A tapestry of colors so divine,
A wonderland that's truly mine.

The river flows, its water clear,
A mirror of the sky so near,
Reflecting all the beauty there,
A sight that takes away all care.

The evening stroll, a perfect treat,
A time to relax and feel complete,
A moment to connect with nature's soul,
And let its wonder make me whole
