The Ending Poem by Katheryn Foley

The Ending

Rating: 0.5

This is just the beginning of the distance between us,
We should know by now that nothing goes according to plan,
I haven't shed a tear, only means a storm is near,
The waves are seconds from breaking on my shore,
Which is why I am glad your not at my door,
These tears will fall and shatter like glass,
Your lucky your just now a glimpse of my past,
The world forgotten for the world unknown,
Couldn't have asked for a better trade,
At least you wont feel the blade or
Smell the blood I'll leave behind for you to follow,
Because I am invisible to you,
And you are fading away in my watered eyes,
The story of my life.
