The Emperor Poem by ENOCH JOHN

The Emperor

Tiredness is a king,
Who but rules for a night
Then is vanquished by the rising sun.

Happiness is a prince,
Who may rule a little longer
If he is treated right.

Greed is a monster,
That rears its ugly head
And grabs for material gain,

But Love is the Emperor,
Ruler of all he surveys
And covers a multitude of errors!
