The Eggs Crack Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The Eggs Crack

Rating: 5.0

I managed to crack the egg and came out,
Watched the colorful delicacy in a lovely greenery,
Looked at the colors of butterflies in painted wings,
All round I noticed something hidden in scenery.

Saw butterflies kissing the inviting petals,
Listened to the love song of the bumble bees,
Felt aroma of flowers and smell of ripen fruits,
I missed something still hidden in the trees.

Restless I was I didn't know what I am looking for
Suddenly I noticed a sound of another crack,
A beautiful female bird came out of the twin egg,
Understood the secret, got everything nothing I lack!

I admire such innocence and receptivity: it's as if the poet is being born anew in each moment. Thus it is fitting that the empty place in his heart is filled. It is fitting that the poet is quick to recognize the miracle that appears.
