The Educated Monkey Poem by nimal dunuhinga

The Educated Monkey

Rating: 5.0

At the Zoological gardens
I gave a banana to a monkey
and he nicely peeled it
like a man.
When I got closer
he asked my ball point pen
and I gave him.
He searched for a piece of paper
and found inside it seems.
I saw he wrote something, rolled and threw it out.
What a miracle?
This was written.
'The caged animals are harmless
Beware of the human beings'.

A charming lighthearted little poem, but with more than a grain of wisdom in it too. A very intelligent monkey indeed. Write on, Nimal. Sandra

You hit that one right on the nose Nimal. The most dangerous animals are the one's who believe they have all the brains.
