The Eclipse Poem by Andreas Molander

The Eclipse

Light slowly fades.
And what was fed by
Blue rays of romance
From the disappearing night sun
Loses its charms
And looks deprived
Of innocence
And youth.

The gold glows around the edge
It is sharp and thin
Old and young alike
Are forced to close
Their eyes and think
Of pure essence
And of truth.

Yet for a while
All is clear
Our chance has come
To see through all
Unclouded by the false
Materialistic sentence
Human filth

Who dares to look
And see the light
Rarely it is bare
Before our eyes
Take your chance and see
innocence
And youth.
