The Dream Poem by paul fondland

The Dream

I once had a Dream.

In my Dream, I was laying in my couch watching Antilops run on the television.
Behind the curtains of my windows, Toads where playing loudly.

Behind my couch, Crickets were singing their beautiful songs.
Under my legs, I could feel the warmth of a striped Hyena.

Beneath my pillow, seven small Bugs were silently sleeping without a sound.
I closed my eyes...and under my eye lids were a Cow, standing there proudly.

And there, behind the desk, she was. Mariah Carey.
