The Door Poem by Daniele Cerasoli

The Door

My eyes were fixed at the Door
(It was shut with no lock)
I then heard a faint knock
And its shadow crept along the floor.

I approached to explore
But before I could pass
I was halted, alas,
The door was closed forevermore!
