The Dolphins' Voice Poem by Aerielle Louise HernandezCo

The Dolphins' Voice

No matter how slow it’ll be, I’ll listen
I am here, I’ll never hasten
Every word are preciously hovered
Fitly spoken as the setting of silver

Your voice is as pleasant as I hear
Brings music to my every ear
I love the sound of your voice
And for me it was never a noise

How I wish we could talk as often
How I like to keep these ears open
Kept on dreaming we were near
Wishing, wondering you were here

At the bliss of my solitude
I could hear a multitude
Hearing a silence so loud
There’s something I began to doubt

Can we keep a secret conversation?
As the dolphins’ do with concentration,
Know that they could talk even far
And hear wherever they are

They send message by ultrasound
As they swim in the ocean around
No huge wave, no deep ocean,
Nothing can hinder their session

No one, but them, can hear
And nobody can interfere
Both of them are aware
That they really both care

I wish we were they
So we could talk everyday
We’ll both listen and speak
Like dolphins, peaceful and meek
