The Dictionary Swallower Poem by Bill Smith

The Dictionary Swallower

Standing under a melting physcedelic wax rainbow
Knee deep in a primordial morass of memory
My loquacity stifled in sub conscious torpidity
When in a startling blink of clarity
My mind a nova, evanescent,
Where for that ephemeral moment
I understand everything
