Solitude Poem by Bill Smith

Solitude

Rating: 4.8

In solitude she swears
No more tears will she waste
Lifts the silver to her lips
Takes a little taste
Eyes cast to the sky
Dreams on a shining moon
While quietly in her solitude
She sips tears from a spoon

Lovely portrait of lonliness and grief.
