The Devil My Dad Poem by alex simonson

The Devil My Dad

Rating: 5.0

I'm sitting here in total blackness
Bleeding myself dry
Why did you have to hurt me
Why did you have to make me cry
But now I'm laughing
Because it's my time to die
My body feels weaker
And somewhere shines a light
I feel the devils hands
Lift me off my bed
My little sisters screaming
Fills my hollow head
The doctor saves me
Before I can taste death
I can feel the devil weeping
Upon my sleeping chest
I've got a second chance
This time I'll do it right
I'll wait for the devil to go to work
And slip away quietly into the night
Know one will ever know
Know one will ever care
And so I find my self again
Sitting in total blackness
Bleeding my self dry
This time there is a smile on my face
I finally get to die
