The Destiny Of Unwanted Births Poem by Vadakkumpurath Ramesan

The Destiny Of Unwanted Births

She smiles at
Anything and everyone
But she has retarded
Senses as the protein chip
Inserted in her in the womb
Was defective and deformed.
Her parents were prey
To the catastrophic
Man made disastars
In the name of Science
And technological advancement
Her parents could not
Resist and reign, the Nature's
Prime commandment to them
That every creature
Of the creator is bound
To indulge in procreation.
Her parents repent
For the deed done
As it cannot be undone.
They gave birth
To a cursed birth
With a pack of ordeals
That mitigate till she
Is lowered to the grave!
