The Death Of Roses Poem by Salah Labaki

The Death Of Roses

When roses die,
Only the brilliance, the color, the beauty vanish
The scent abides
Lingering with the flowing of the eastern wind.
Roses do not perish,
Even if the leafy stem bow its head and die.
