The Day The Earth Stood Still And The Martians Attacked Poem by Austin Warwick

The Day The Earth Stood Still And The Martians Attacked

It was a cold December day,
the clouds were gray.
people walking in the snow
paying no mind to whats going on.
Then a stream of light came down from the sky.
Bright as the sun and loud as thunder.
People screamed and ran in circles.
Big-eyed green men came out of the spaceships
Taking people and asking them to get on there knees.
It was a cold December day....
The sky was gray
and the Earth stood still.
