The Dark Dreamer Poem by Janelle Morehart

The Dark Dreamer

The Dark Dreamer

Forever to be the dreamer
Dreaming away my life
Wishing no..Dreaming of a better place
My dreams forever dark
Hardly ever is there light
No unicorns or fairies
Or cute little bumble bees for me
I dream of shadows and screams
Darkness mingles with blood
Creatures screaming
Souls agonizing torture
I am the Dreamer
Forever do I dream
God does not give me my dreams
Nor does Satan himself
But one other that you'll soon know
One that we all meet at the end of our road
He gives me my dreams
As a means for his..job we'll say
For once I dream of a person
It seems...
That the next day or maybe longer
They meet my dream's creator
They meet the one the fear most
When I dream a dark dream
And a soul wanders in
Death awaits that misfortuned one
I pity them, I truly do
But you had better be careful
Or i'll dream of you
