The Daemon And The Fay Poem by Aman Mulji

The Daemon And The Fay

Rating: 0.5

Once, a daemon, blurred in existence by loneliness,
Only hatred spiked with tears followed his trail,
Amongst the deepest, darkest gulf, unknown and frightened,
Longing for change, but lost in his own disbelief…
Captured by the eyes of a fay, he saw passed the tears,
Lost in affection he had forsaken his evils,
Realizing the beauty behind the curtain of this fay,
Slowly he became a man of nirvana,
But only for a while even if she also saw passed it-
He wasn't worthy of her presence,
So she took him by the hand,
Her wings carrying them both past the blackness,
Amidst this dream she never turned on him,
Always by him, as he was always by her,
Time passed and he was well,
And as time passed she let go,
She simply let go…
So falling into his tears once more,
He began to drown,
Left alone without a heart,
Thus his search to find life again,
Despite his departed sins,
Never did he deserve such agony…
