Would you believe?
The fable I share
From waters deep beneath
The darkest Neptune’s bed

Born in the spring of August
An unknown century
The love child of blue waters
Lives the creature of the sea

Audacious as the dragon
Gentle as a mare
Mightier than the mountains
Stronger than a bear

Swifter than a snake
Playful as a bee
Sharper than an eagle
Free as the breeze

Behold what runs your thoughts
This is larger than what you perceive
Tis the life of the oceans
The creature of the sea

So goes the ancient legend
The one blessed to see
Shall rise from earth we know
A life less ordinary

Will bear the courage of lions
Compassionate from the seed
A heart filled with grace
A soul determined to lead

But what if
There’s more to the legend
Perhaps… its fate
These lines you read
The hero blessed to see
Is what you and I are born with
The passion, this force are we

The brilliance in you, trust, believe
The chosen one to see
The marvel of this world
The creature of the sea
This creature lives in you and me!
