The Clown's Big Laugh & Silent Cry Poem by Garland Jodie Jeen

The Clown's Big Laugh & Silent Cry

</>The lady won the beauty contest
Showing off her award in the newspaper text
The scientist won the Nobel Prize
Holding the prize like seizing a white mouse that was dead
The athlete won the Olympics
Biting the medal to see if it'll crack
The last guest...Who is he?
He laughs with a big mouth
He smiles and takes a bunny out
from a flower that sprouts
All the colourful balloons are getting dull
They are flying away
and the sky is grey...
He goes away and his colours on his body fade
We all see his smiley face
But who can hear his silent cries
Falling drops of tears from his eyes...
