The Cleansing Poem by Dr. Mary Annie A.V

The Cleansing

Take a walk now
throughthe cluttered mind of mine.

Pick up the pieces
placing them where they belong.

Perhaps you will come across
some spaces that need to be filled.

Fill them with what you may deem fit.

If I were a building, mortar and lime would do.

But I am human, remember I am flesh and blood.
Fill the spaces then, with what you chose,
what you choose, be it for my best.

If it is love, I shalllove in return.

If it is joy, I shall beam with happiness.

If it be peace,
then willI be complete.

The complete me
like a boardgame
waiting for the right moves to make.

Begin now,
there is no time to waste.
