The City After The Rain Poem by Vera Dike

The City After The Rain

The city after the rain

The night heavy rain washed
the dirt of the streets.
The city woke up
and proudly exposed
its beauty

As if famous courtesan
exposes her gems
or her curves
Shameless, sinfull
irresistable.
