The Circle Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

The Circle

Rating: 5.0

We live in a circle, a circle of life
Start anywhere and end at the start
If the end is, the start does it ever part?
Birth and death are not so far apart
Apart from birth, we know death from the start
Progressing round this circle we all know will end
What kind of message to us does this send?
All we can do is live to the limit
The only thing that limits us is the length
The length is our allotted time it takes to reach the end
So the end is the start
The circle begins for us again?
Depends on what you believe in
We do I believe live in a circle
That goes round and round without end
So can you tell me where did I start?
At death or birth
Or can’t you tell them apart
