The Children Poem by Rosi Caswell

The Children

Rating: 4.5

Let the children have their childhood.
Let the children laugh and play.
Let us show the little children
How to learn new facts each day.
Pick them up when they fall downwards.
Show them how to stand so tall,
Learning all life's secret knowledge.
They then will fulfil all,
Of the blueprint they have written
When they came into this life
Taking all the love and sunshine.
Taking also dark and strife.
Let us show them how to balance
As on their journey they commence.
Help them over all the hurdles,
Whether easy or intense.
Yes let the children have their childhood.
Let the children laugh and play.
Let us show the little children
How to learn new facts each day.
