The Child In You Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

The Child In You

Rating: 5.0

If the child's smile can't move you
You forfeit altogether your title of Man
Exalted, adorable, exceedingly lovable
The stars twinkle in their amazement
As they gaze upon the loveliness of innocence
The full Moon's radiance has its source
In the sparkle of childhood hallowed kinship guileless
Your wish for deliverance shall be granted if you keep reverence
For the child in you always alive with utmost wakefulness
Always keep chanting ‘'I wonder, I wonder'' in syllables melodious
Bliss would descend upon you in soft yet mighty cadences
