The Butterfly Poem by Jürgen Wagner

The Butterfly

Rating: 5.0

To become a butterfly so bright
A few days on Earth in the light
In beauty, you unfold your grace
On blossoms, you find a resting place

You dance and flutter in the breeze
Swaying in the air with so much ease
But for this transformation rare
Were months of crawling, burdens to bear

You had to munch and shed your skin
What a transformation deep within!
A journey of patience and strength untold
At least, a creature of beauty unfolds
