The Boy And The Apple Tree - Tanka Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

The Boy And The Apple Tree - Tanka

Rating: 5.0

The boy shook the tree
Apples flecked with russet dots
And strong hint of pink
Rained down plopping and bouncing
Into the gorgeous green grass.

A scene of innocence and beauty, painted to perfection.

Loved the poem. It is a fine piece picturing the nature splendid with ripe apples and the natural instinct of children to bring them down. If it is the picture in America here in India we can see children shaking the branches of mango trees

You've described this even better than a painting, I can just close my eyes and drift off! .......... Many blessings! ..

This is just beautiful. Your explicit description of color makes look more jucier and attractive. I was taken back to the scene where this must be taking place.
