The Box Of Betrayal And Mistrust Poem by Youssef Tarek Mnsr

The Box Of Betrayal And Mistrust

Don't open the box she said
keep it closed,
don't open the box she said
or the bad would be exposed

Eager I was,
to open the box
but sister said no
so I should not know

My limit was reached
I might be impeached
but at least i'll know
why sister said no

I opened the box
it was a pile of rocks
but why, I don't know
why sister said no

I turned around,
and sister is what I found
she said she trusted me
but I let her down

I asked why she told me not to
'Why did you? '
She said it was a test
but I failed and opened the chest

The chest, the box she told me not to
but still, why? I have no clue
she said she wanted to see
will I open it and see?

'This is trust, and I trusted you
but your eagerness grew
you need to built trust
because people will trust you'

'When you are trusted
you shouldn't be busted
people will tell you not to,
so you shouldn't, too'

'Next time someone trusts you
now you should have a clue of what to do
you never peek, and you never seek
but if you do, the bond between you will be weak'

'So when someone trusts you
you say you'd love to
you don't peak inside
ore else you would have lied
and your trust would have died'
