The Bomb That Will Never Go Off Poem by Venkatesh Raghava

The Bomb That Will Never Go Off

Rating: 2.5

An Indian traveler lost his way in Zurich airport,
A fellow Malayali refused when help he sought
Dejected, while he was sitting in empty corner
Tariq Anwar, A NewYork Muslim gentle touched his shoulder.

He took him through winding corridors, up and down escalators
To find the terminal and departure gate
And left requesting him to take care of his baggage,
Now the Indian was in a fix with a stranger's luggage.

As the world had not got recovered from the 9/11 shock,
The Indian with fear was expecting explosion to go off,
But after sometime Tariq came and relived Indian of the tension,
Assuring by saying, 'For your bomb in my bag, I gave to faith and trust attention! '.
