The Blonde Girl Poem by Donna Caldwell

The Blonde Girl

She stared at her with envious eyes
Her nature turning green
The tall blonde girl approaching her
With a figure very lean

Her eyes were the deepest blue
That she had ever seen
Her jealousy was surfacing
At this beautiful figurine

Her complexion was the clearest
That nature could provide
She thought of her own angrily
Her hatred opening wide

And then she noticed suddenly
A stick the colour white
And suddenly felt guilty
That she was blessed with sight
