The Blessed Rain Poem by Anthony Mondal

The Blessed Rain

The stormy winds gives dust wings
Precariously low the gray clouds hang
At a distance I hear the thundering bangs
A flash of lightning across the sky streaks

Rain drops falls on trembling tree leaves
On the river, the meadow, and the valley steep
Forests beasts and birds, together they dance
Setting aside, their differences for a while

In rain drops, the thirsty earth bathes
What heavenly music my ears arrest
O what a splendid concert Mother Nature conducts
Where every rhythm, harmony and beat is intact.

As an arid desert plant for water desire (th) .
So does my heart awaits, for rain drops from above
Cleanse and wash away my tribulations and sin
Make me feel alive again, come and make me sing.
