The Blessed Jasmine
Angels appear in the sky as shining stars
And descent to earth as jasmine blooms
In white, being the essence of innocence
Carrying with them a celestial fragrance
Thy flower buds begin to bloom at dusk
As if the angels wake up from meditation
Ah! Jasmine, from the depths of my heart
I admire and adore the sanctity of thy soul
Jasmine, when you stay clinging to the tree
In blissful union forgetting everything around
The tree in immense love holds you fast
To his bosom In rain, drain and in strong wind
You are a blessed being Jasmine, undoubtedly
The angels gifted you their favourite colour
The earth has given you a sheltering tree
And The Gods a pot of everlasting fragrance
