The Bleeding Soul Poem by Katherine Knight

The Bleeding Soul

From the darkness cries a bleeding Soul,
The razor that cuts it is now dull,
The Soul has struggled its whole life,
Pain, misery, never ending strife,
Whatever you can think of,
Its been through,
And it's never,
Known what to do,
And its life it will not keep,
And it wants the endless sleep,
No one's ever,
Shown it the way,
It's never had,
A place to stay,
No one's ever,
Shown it love,
Hate is all,
It's ever known of,
In the darkness,
Truth seeps in,
And to understand it,
The Soul begins.
