The Blaze

Look inside and see an eternal blaze
As it shines, it hypnotizes and the world has no choice but to gaze
As they try to understand the mystic draw of this beacon and why they stare at it with amaze
They get lost in thought as they wonder through their mind as if it were a maze
Suddenly they realize as they look into her eyes as to why they gaze
It’s because in her they see immense magnificence, glory that deserves much praise

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
