I went to the Mosque today
Singing Nasheeds in the rain
Bismilah with every step I take
As I feel the warmth within my heart.
As I thank Allah for the rain
I go to my class
A bit wild today
Maybe we all woke on the wrong side of the bed (As they say)
After the class
I stay for a bit had something to eat.
Then I heard a voice
The sweetest voice ever
As children sight qura'an
How sweet the sound
The best you'll ever hear
Masha-Allah
To every girl and boy
As I hear the sweetest sounds.
You bring me joy.
You bring joy to all the Sisters.
May Allah continue to guide you well.
