The Beatific Place Poem by Farrukh Jawed

The Beatific Place

Beautiful night with glittering stars, gleaming moon and cool breeze
Nature could be heard murmuring in Rustling leaves and swaying trees
Thinking about cruelty, wars and hatred in world
Longing for kindness, peace and love my heart yearned

All at once far away bright light illuminated in sky
I was amazed as it dazzled my eyes
My heart skipped a beat, my vision blurred
And from that heavenly light an angel emerged

Her Aura outshined the stars and the moon
She seemed to be a blessing, a boon
Was it an illusion or was I dreaming
She came closer and closer her eyes twinkling, her face beaming

She looked in my eyes and I fell for her by choice
I could hear our hearts beating with one voice
She took my hand at looked at my face
And I was in a different world, a beatific place

She took me to places where I had never been
She showed me the things which I had never seen
It was a place build with love and blessed with divinity
With no hate and fear, enveloped with festivity

Kids were playing, birds were chanting
Flowers were singing, trees were dancing
I still remember her, I still remember the beatific place
When she said goodbye with memories and that beautiful flower vase

Would she appear on a beautiful night like then
Would she take me to her world again?
